Item Description
11-1/8x17.25" thin artboard has Mike Manley's pen and ink original art for cover of "The Punisher War Zone" #9, published by Marvel Nov. 1992. Manley's art features The Punisher being choked from behind by the assassin Garrote. Publishing indicia and "Going... Going... Gone" text captions are stat paste-overs, as is Manley's signature. Artboard has acetate sheet attached at top, sheet having "The Punisher War Zone" title pasteover. Art also has paper overlay (loose), w/partial color guide and editorial notations regarding title/captions. Scattered handling wear/aging w/staple holes along top margin, but art remains clean and Exc. Jason Taulbee Collection.
