Item Description
Pair of photos showing three Russian cosmonauts. 6.75x9.25" photo shows Valeri Polyakov (the holder of the record for the longest single spaceflight in human history, staying aboard the Mir space station for more than 14 months during one trip) climbing aboard ship after being picked up upon his return to Earth. This photo was actually flown in space during his record space flight and has been signed in black ink, noting "438 Days On Board 'Mir' Station" and adding "21.03.95" date and Russian text that translates to "USSR Pilot Cosmonaut. Photo has "MNP" star stamp noting Mir flown flight status at lower right corner. Exc. Comes w/8x10" photo of cosmonauts Alexey Leonov and Valeri Kubsaov (part of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project/ASTP) in their spacesuits. Photo has been signed in black felt tip pen by both, both adding "ASTP" notation. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
