Item Description
5.25x8.25" w/16 pages. Published by the Carlisle-Allen Company, Aug., 1942. Front cover is a hold-to-light feature which reveals Superman as cover guest when held to light. Various games and activities incorporating Superman and wartime practices. Page 10 features "Boxing Lessons By Superman" cut-out. Entry form and one puzzle filled out in pencil w/inked name/address stamp on back cover. Complete w/fold-out advertisement for Brown's - Tim's Store. Issue has some pinch creases to spine w/moderate corner tip wear at top right, affecting pages and back cover as well. VG/Fine overall. Only the second example of this issue we've offered in our 50 years, the last selling for $2,283 in 2006. More rare than "Action Comics" #1.
