Item Description
Glossy 8x10" MLB photo shows Roy Campanella (1921-1993) standing in batting stance in Brooklyn Dodgers uniform. Campanella made his Major League debut in 1948 (having previously played in the Negro Leagues and Mexican League), becoming the first black catcher in MLB. A member of the 1955 World Series champion team, Campanella was inducted into the MLB HOF in 1969. Photo has been boldly signed (signature measuring 5.5" wide) in blue felt tip pen. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
