Item Description
Pair of oversized 10x13.75" comic books, both part of a "Limited Collector's Silver Mint Series" published by DC Comics in 1974. Offered here are No. C-28, a reprint of "Detective Comics" #27 (May 1939) which featured the first appearance of Batman and No. F-5, a reprint of "Batman" #1 (Spring 1940) which featured the first appearance of Robin. Both have been signed in black felt tip pen on front covers by Batman co-creator Bob Kane (1915-1998), both inscribed "To Kenny." Issues have some scattered handling wear, w/some pinch creases to spines and some edge/corner tip wear. Fine/VF. Signatures have smudged ever so slightly, but remain totally legible. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOAs.
