8.5x11" stiff paper folder promoting how Red Ryder helps sales w/facsimile letter from the Daisy Manufacturing Company touting the success that Daisy had w/their use of the character on their products, noting that the "Red Ryder Carbine" had quickly become their number one seller. Back of folder has photo image of "Red Ryder" creator Fred Harmon drawing the comic strip, photo is framed by a number of sample strips. Folder comes w/"Little Eager Beaver" sheet which shows Dell "Little Beaver" comic book and photo of Little Beaver actor w/"Red Ryder" owner E.H. Wadewitz and promoter Stephen Slesinger. Folder also contains letter dated July 18, 1951 on King Features Syndicate stationery to International Doll Company of Philadelphia, PA w/typed message stating that KFS hoped International would consider making a Little Beaver doll. Folder and included papers have paper clip mark w/some rust soiling to letter. Contents are Fine/VF while folder has some handling wear and is Fine overall. Rare promotional item and first we've offered in our 50 years.
