Item Description
3.5x5x.5" deep enamel tin frame holds glass over full color paper playing surface picturing Popeye punching five identical goons to illustrate his balloon caption "Five In A Row, Eh!" Playing surface is dimpled by 25 circular recesses for capturing the six small metal balls in style of traditional bingo card. Underside insert paper has game instructions. Bar Zim Toy Co. 1930s w/KFS copyright. Frame shows some lt. wear and insert card has some scattered minor staining. Fine/VF. Comes w/5" tall by 6" wide by 1" deep triangular tin canister w/embossed tin litho Popeye lid. Unmarked but made in Australia, 1930s. Scattered aging/wear w/.25x.5" area of oxidation to Popeye's hat and 3/8" scratch on his shirt. Fine.
