Item Description
8.5x11" industry trade publication that was "Published In The Interest Of Independent Magazine Wholesalers And Dealers" by Fawcett Distributing Corporation in Aug. 1943. Overall contents include various news promotions and photos including people reading Fawcett comic books. Those shown include - "Gift Comics" #2, "Captain Marvel Adventures" #26, "Captain Marvel Jr." #9, "Master Comics" #40, "Wow Comics" #15 and others. Back cover features ad for war bonds and publication features photos of armed forces members. Pinch creases to spine w/corner tip wear and some creasing to covers. Archival tape repair at inside bottom of spine. Fine overall w/VF contents. Scarce due to limited distribution as a trade publication. Comes w/typed letter of Fawcett Distributing Corporation letterhead dated Aug. 6, 1943 to Oklahoma newsstand business featured in magazine. Folded as mailed, letter is evenly aged and has some edge wear. VF.
