Item Description
Lot of three posters, each approx. 14x22" and all for 1968 Bill Graham-promoted concerts that took place at Fillmore East in New York, NY. FE-4 is first and only printing poster for April 19-20 concerts that featured Mothers of Invention and the James Cotton Blues band. Poster design by Helen Hersh features psychedelic tree imagery w/"Mothers Of Invention" name in stars and stripes design. FE-5 is for April 26-27 concerts that featured Traffic, Blue Cheer and Iron Butterfly. Poster design by David Byrd features four men staring up from checkerboard. FE-9 is for May 24 concert that featured Ravi Shankar. Poster design by David Byrd and Esgro features photo of Shankar at top over winding river/road image. All posters have some corner tip/edge wear but are w/o pinholes and Fine/VF overall.
