Item Description
Large 13x15.75x2.25" hinged leather case w/snap closures contains high quality mats w/attachments that illustrate steps taken in producing a Disney film. The film used for this kit was "The Prince And The Pauper," a Mickey Mouse animated short released in 1990. Each step is illustrated by the attachments on the mats accompanied by text on the reverse fully detailing each step. Mats include - "Storyboard Sketches, Layout Drawing, Character Model Sheets, Rough Animation Drawings" and "Clean-Up Animation Drawings" (both w/multiple pages of the rough and clean-up animation mats) as well as "Unpainted Cel, Background Painting, Painted Cel" and "Cel Set-Up." The two cel samples are actual hand-painted animation cels. Contents are NM. Case shows lt. trace of wear and is Exc. This elaborate case and contents was designed to be used for salesperson's presentations to prospective customers of the high end cels, sericels, etc being produced and sold during this period. Never meant to leave the store or be sold, these cases had very limited production and distribution as not all Disney Stores had an Art Department.
