©1976, 1980 Colorforms. From the Colorforms Archives. A unique lot of production materials for the DC Super-Adventure Colorforms set. These alternate designs for the 1970s set include 17.5x25" mechanical for the box lid w/overlay, a mock-up hand colored lid, two progressive proof packets, a color key proof for an unused lid design with unique art. Next is a 18x20.5" mechanical w/overlay. hand colored artwork taped to acetate sheet and a progressive proof packet dated 1980 and with a completely different design featuring Batman, Superman, Robin, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Lt. handling wear/aging as expected. Lot also has two mechanicals with hand colored art for the platform and the instruction booklet. All art in lot is production, no original artwork except hand coloring. All display VF. Some pieces have hand written notes and color breakdown/copyright information. A very unique grouping of items used in the design process. One of a kind with unused artwork.
