Item Description
15.25" tall hollow painted plaster statue. 1940s. Unlike some of these statues that were painted in odd colors, this example has been nicely painted in correct colors w/mouth and eyes paint accents. These statues usually feature Superman's "S" symbol painted on, but this example features incised shield symbol which has been nicely highlighted in copper paint. Superman's belt buckle also has incised "S" detail. Glossy and NM. The nicest example of any Superman carnival statue we've seen in our 50 years. Franco Toscanini Collection.
