Item Description
14.75" tall hollow painted plaster statue. 1940s. Unlike some of these statues that were painted in odd colors, this example has been nicely painted in correct colors w/mouth and eyes paint accents. These statues sometime feature Superman's "S" symbol painted on, but this example does not. Dark sparkle accents to cape, chest and belt. Front side of ankles have hairline, but this does not go through entirety of statue and is as produced. Some small scattered paint flakes, but still displays VF overall. Franco Toscanini Collection.
