Item Description
11x17" thin artboard features artist Stephen Jones' pen and ink original art for page 3 of the Aug. 1996 issue of "Over The Edge" #10 featuring Daredevil, published by Marvel Comics. Five panel page features Daredevil helping firefighters evacuate people from burning laboratory, which was in close proximity to Everett Halstead for President rally. Last three panels feature Daredevil searching for Halstead, who had entered burning building to save people. Last panel features Daredevil using his radar senses, w/bkg. in blue preliminary pencils. Artboard has paper overlay w/marker art for this panel w/acetate sheet overlay having word balloon paste-overs. Art was inked by Mike Witherby, who has signed in black ink at bottom right margin. Top margin has production notations w/handwritten title and issue/page number. Some scattered glue staining to word balloon paste-overs, but art remains clean and Exc. Nice example w/Daredevil in every panel.
