Item Description
11x17" thin Marvel Comics artboard features artist Ernie Stiner's pen and ink original art for page 26 of the July 1995 issue of "X-Men Adventures" Vol. 3 #5, published by Marvel Comics. Art is for "The Phoenix Saga, Part 3: The Phoenix And The Princess" and six panel page features Shi'ar Imperial Guard member Gladiator in battle w/the X-Men. Wolverine and Gambit appear in first panel and deposed Empress Lilandra appears in first four panels. Professor X appears in last two panels, w/Cyclops attending Jean Grey's hospital bed in last panel. Artboard has vellum overlay w/paste-over stat of Professor X in last panel. Page has been inked by Joe Rubinstein. Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page number. Top left corner has some staining and art has some scattered minor glue staining. VF overall w/Exc. art.
