Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 10, featuring three panels showing Captain America in costume, using his iconic shield to behead one of the attacking Biotron constructs. Cap proceeds to attack constructs in second panel, w/group of them attempting to subdue him in last panel. Captain America appears in every panel. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Text has all been hand-lettered by Jim Novak. Top left corner has been clipped, not affecting art or text. Some even aging to screentone accents on Biotron construct in first panel as well as that applied to Captain America's shield. Art o/w remains clean and Exc.
