Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 14, featuring seven panels showing Spider-Man attempting to figure out what happened to the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent he threw through the wall. He surmises that there must be a portal of sorts in the wall and dives through, only for S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to grab him again, causing Spider-Man to yell "Hey! Easy On The Threads! Wall-Crawler Costumes Aren't Exactly Off The Rack Items!" Spider-Man appears in every panel. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Top left corner has been clipped, not affecting art or text. Text is all paste-overs, which have aged. Second to last panel has some staining from missing word balloon. Screentone accents have also evenly aged. Art o/w remains clean and VF/Exc.
