Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 19, featuring four panels showing Sultan's Biotron constructs bringing in Spider-Man and Nick Fury to room Captain America is in as more constructs continue to work machinery, causing steam to billow throughout facility in third and fourth panels. Sultan directs Fury's attention to bomb in third panel, w/Spider-Man thinking of way to joke about Sultan to throw him off, stating "One Thing About You Sultan, You're No Piker When It Comes To Fancy Bottlerockets!" Spider-Man, Nick Fury and Captain America all appear together in first panel, w/Spider-Man and Fury together in last two panels. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/incorrect "Amazing Spider-Man" stamped title (which has been crossed out) and inked issue/page number. Text balloons are all paste-overs, which have aged. Screentone accents have aged as well. Top right corner has been clipped, not affecting art or text. Art remains clean and Exc.
