Item Description
Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 18, featuring four panels showing Spider-Man and Nick Fury zooming along the Maine coastline in Fury's specially-modified Porsche, w/Spider-Man commenting about Fury's fast driving. A steel wall pops up from the road in third panel and the car is surrounded by Sultan's Biotron constructs as Spider-Man and Fury exit car. Both Spider-Man and Fury appear in twp panels. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title (crossed out) and inked issue/page number. Text balloons/captions are all paste-overs, which have aged. Screentone accents have aged as well. Top left corner has been clipped and top left margin has slight trim, neither affecting art or text. Art remains clean and Exc.
