Item Description
5-1/8" long w/8" wide wingspan solid chrome-plated die-cast metal airplane is attached to 4.75" dia. metal ashtray w/attached "TWA" plaque on front. Plane rests on ball joint, allowing for movement of plane for display. "Airtray" ashtray by V.F. Pastushin Co. 1950. Model is DC-3 w/recessed/painted "TWA" name on left wing and at back of plane's body. Tailfin has painted stripes. Pair of engines have cast metal propellers that spin. Scattered aging w/some trace pitting and lt. trace paint wear. Fine overall.
