Item Description
8.5x11" single-sided handbill for Cleveland, OH venue La Cave Club. Handbill is dated "July, 1967" and lists performers from July 25 to Sept. 17. These include - Tim Buckley, Dave Van Ronk, James Cotton Chicago Blue's Band, Janis Ian and Jim Kweskin Jug Band as well as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, noted as "A Real Experience." Despite being listed, the band did not end up playing at La Cave, instead appearing as the Salvation Club in New York City in support of their upcoming release "Are You Experienced." Handbill also notes upcoming appearances by The Youngbloods, Blues Project, Jose Fieciciano and Paul Butterfield. Back of handbill has handwritten figures for Dave Van Ronk show in ink. Top margin has some staple holes w/thin streaks of oxidation. Horizontal crease at center. Fine/VF. Very rare.
