Item Description
14x21.75" incomplete second printing on thick glossy stock that was pulled before applying the blue ink. Poster advertises Feb. 1-4, 1968 concerts at Fillmore Auditorium/Winterland in San Francisco, CA featuring the Jimi Hendrix Experience, John Mayall & The Blues Breakers as well as Albert King. Art by Rick Griffin featuring flying eyeball holding skull. Griffin has boldly signed in gold paint pen at lower right. A 1.25" diagonal crease at top left below corner. Otherwise only corner tip wear at upper right and lower left each w/some creases. VF. This image is arguably the most recognizable of any from the BG series and is among the most celebrated images of the psychedelic era.
