Item Description
Large and ornate 52.5x75.5" frame contains poster dominated by art image by Emile Clouet, showing female Victorian cyclist. Lower right is marked w/Clouet's facsimile signature. Poster was printed by J. Kossuth & Cie. of Paris, France and French text advertises "American Cycles" and has Sept. 4, 1894 date as well as listing New York and Paris. Poster was assembled from two pieces and was folded. Some restoration has been done along these fold lines and to some scattered moisture staining. Displays Fine/VF as restored and framed.
