8.75x11" spiral-bound w/172 pages. Book features bw contents w/five-page introduction thoroughly detailing KFS which is followed by over 100 two-page spreads featuring syndicated cartoonists. One page is bio w/photo while facing page is specialty art. Artists and writers include - Milton Caniff, Roy Crane, Phil Davis (Mandrake the Magician), Walt Disney (w/Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.), Charles Flanders (The Lone Ranger), Hal Foster (Prince Valiant), Mel Graff (Secret Agent X-9), Jimmy Hatlo, Fred Lasswell, Mac Raboy (Flash Gordon), George McManus, Otto Messmer (Felix the Cat), Alex Raymond, Bob Ripley, Otto Soglow, Chic Young (Blondie), Bill Zaboly (Popeye), Lee Falk, Walter Winchell and many others. Covers show scattered aging/wear, including some margin staining and inked name at top of front cover. Back cover has more moderate staining. Covers are Fine overall. Contents have slight margin aging but are o/w Exc. Limited distribution as sent to newspaper comic editors.
