Item Description
7/8" with W&H back paper in use 1896-1898. Button is from a set of 85 different titled by their maker Whitehead & Hoag in their 1897 catalog as "Celebrated Men And Women". Primarily in b/w but with light color tinting on his face and fringed buckskin jacket. Probably the most sought after button in the set with out last example in Auction #191 exceeding $250. NM displaying Mint. Snuff Garrett Collection.
