3.75x15.75" thin artboard w/India ink original art by Barney Google creator Billy DeBeck. Art is for April 2, 1942 and features three panels, w/Snuffy Smith (wearing soldier's uniform) mans rooftop anti-aircraft gun as high society neighbors watch w/binoculars. The man comments on Snuffy's diligence, noting that he is laying on his back watching the skies w/his binoculars. His wife asks to take a look, only to announce that Snuffy is not using binoculars, but instead drinking from his moonshine jug. DeBeck has signed last panel. Second panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Exc.
