Item Description
4.5x18-1/8" thin artboard w/India ink art in by "Bringing Up Father" creator George McManus. Art is for June 30, 1937 and features four panels, w/Jiggs walking Fifi the dog. Jiggs runs into Dan De Lion, bemoaning the fact that he has to walk Fifi, only for De Lion to reveal he is walking several dogs himself. McManus has signed last panel. Second panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Top margin has some blue pencil notations and scattered aging. Each panel has some screentone accents, which have darkened w/age. First panel is missing screentone to Jiggs' vest and bkg. car. Aside from this, are remains clean and VF overall.
