Item Description
Pair of 5x20-1/8" and 4-7/8x21" thin artboards each w/four panels of India ink art by longtime "Little Annie Rooney" artist Darrell McClure. First artboard features art for March 22, 1935 and shows two older men debating young man's affection for Rosemary, who appears in last panel w/Little Annie Rooney. Exc. Second artboard features art for Feb. 1, 1936 and features Annie w/her dog Zero, walking along w/Annie discussing their financial situation and attempting to find work. All but second panel have some glue staining from now missing shading accents. Art is still VF overall. McClure has signed last panel or each strip. First panel of both have King Features Syndicate copyright strip.
