Item Description
2-1/8" button with metal back and bar pin. Metal back has dark brown oxidation spots but about 85% of the silver luster remains. Curl names Minnesota maker Asco. Front names hometown "Rib Lake, Wisc." of driver Marlin "Shoes" Walbeck whose favorite cars were 1957 Chevys which he drove during his best racing years of 1964-1966 with this button carrying the slogan "Still Alive In 65". Walbeck won the second National Short Track Championship in 1967. Only example we've seen. Cello is NM displaying Mint.
