19x28" glossy poster features heroic battle scene showing US Marine Corps advancing on battlefield, w/American and USMC flags flying high and biplanes in the sky above. Upper left has plaque w/battle names - Cantigny, Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, Argonne and Marne. Bottom margin has "Put Fighting Blood In Your Business" message from Arthur Woods, Assistant to the Secretary of War, urging businesses to hire Marine Corps veterans after the war. Issued by the Red Cross, 1919. Poster shows moderate margin wear w/1.75" sliver off lower left and scattered small nicks/tears along margin. Upper right corner has large area of moisture staining. VG.
