Item Description
Pair of posters, first is 20x30" US Treasury Department poster features nice large image of Statue of Liberty w/US flag design in bkg. by Eugenie DeLand w/"Before Sunset - Buy A U.S. Government Bond Of The 2nd Liberty Loan Of 1917" text. Printed by Sackett & Wilhelms Corporation. Poster has some faint horizontal fold line that are only really noticeable upon close inspection. Left/right margins show moderate wear/aging. VG overall but could be matted and framed for nice display. Second poster appeals to immigrants to support the third Liberty Loan, showing immigrants w/steamship and American flag in bkg. and "Remember! The Flag Of Liberty - Support It! - Buy U.S. Government Bonds - 3rd Liberty Loan" text. Printed in 1918 by Heywood Strasser & Voigt Litho. Co.Some lt. scattered margin wear including .75" margin tear at upper left, but VF overall.
