Item Description
Original 6x8-7/8" cardboard studio mount has attached 4x5.5" vintage photo of Gordon William Lillie (1860-1942) a Wild West promoter/performer who competed against Buffalo Bill Cody before the two merged their competing Wild West Shows around 1910 to create "Buffalo Bill's Wild West And Pawnee Bill's Great Far East." Photo has been boldly inscribed "To Col. [illegible]" and has been signed "Geo. Lillie 'Pawnee Bill'." While Lillie's last name is a bit faint, "Pawnee Bill" remains bold. Bottom left/right margins of studio mount both have 7/8" tears and bottom margin has been reattached w/tape repairs on front/back. This does not affect photo, which still displays Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
