Stambaugh and is from Jonas Salk, MD (1914-1995), an American medical researcher and virologist who discovered and developed one of the first successful polio vaccines. Salk laments missing Stambaugh at recent event but notes he will count him among his Christmas blessings and mentions his work w/crippled children. Salk has signed letter in black ink. Letter was folded as mailed and displays Exc. Interesting as letter is dated just months before Salk's polio vaccine was released. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
