Item Description
This medal, at 2" dia. and over .25" thick, is just as large and heavy as HC 1844-1 and in fact the obverse high relief busts of Clay are identical. Reverses differ with this one showing coastal scene, tall mast ship and three buildings belching smoke. Couple barely seen shallow nicks on Clay and reverse extreme edge at 11 o'clock has very slightest flat spot .25" long. Overall Exc. and with nice amount of original luster.
