Item Description
This group is similar to the preceding lot although the majority of the buttons are 1.25" plus one each at 1.75" and the largest at 2.25". The 3-D tin footballs name USA, Germany or Japan. Buttons are all extremely clean with the exception of light stain over about 50% of the "Eat 'Em Up! Yale" button which also has a little stain on the "Tame The Tiger!" ribbon. Ribbons, typically in the school colors, join to the footballs. A few of these have some wear as follows. "Columbia" is missing a blue ribbon and with separations on the right side of the remaining cream ribbon but the 50% fabric still firmly holds the ball in place. Next is for "Cornell". Next is for "Dartmouth" with darker colored ribbon incomplete although remaining lighter brown ribbon is fully intact. Next is "Harvard". Next is "Penna" (University of Pennsylvania) followed by button picturing a Tiger with text "Yeah Penn!". Next are a pair, similar, but in different colors and typefaces,  for "Yale". The first has separations on both ribbon edges but enough remains intact to hold the ball in place. Unless noted, conditions are Exc. to NM. A nice group primarily from the 1930s and from the Paul Muchinsky Collection.
