Item Description
Sizes are 1.25" to 3.5" for the button "ARA Services Welcomes President Bush To Arlington Stadium Opening Day-April 8, 1991". Lot consists of 27 cello covered pinback buttons plus one heavy brass key fob with the fob designed as a ticket inscribed "Detroit Tigers/Opening Day-1984" plus additional details. The first 11 buttons in the group all include the text "Rox Opening Day" with dates spanning 1949-1966. The first and last of these have noticeable stain with the rest Exc. to Mint. In row 2 the "Appleton 1940" button has a significant dent on the left edge but displays cleanly. The 6th button in this row for the "Braves" is heavily stained but still with gloss. The items in rows 3 & 4 all relate to major leagues and actually one of these is litho rather than cello being the "Go Phillies" button at the start of row 3. Other teams include Twins, Tigers, Giants, Orioles from 2006 and Rockies from 1997. 28 pieces. Exc. to Mint with exceptions noted.
