Item Description
19.5x23.25" frame contains matted artboard w/acrylic original art by The Brothers Hildebrandt created in 1994 for Fleer's wildly popular "Marvel Masterpieces" trading card series. Card features the character Nightwatch, who has often been referred to as Marvel Comics' answer to Spawn. First appearing in "Web Of Spider-Man" #97, most of Nightwatch's appearances came in the 1990s in various titles starring Spider-Man and in his own short-lived, self-titled series. Signed at lower left. Few pieces of original Marvel art by The Brothers Hildebrandt come up for sale on the secondary market, making this a truly special piece. Frame shows some scattered wear, but art remains NM and ready for display.
