Item Description
Large 15.5x20-7/8" sheet of stiff paper has detailed pencil original art by legendary Fantasy/Sci-Fi and comic book artist Greg Hildebrandt. Art features astounding scene showing multiple characters from the Thor comics, including Thor hefting Mjolnir at center, flanked by Lady Sif and the villainous Loki. Thor's father Odin towers over them and the Rainbow Bridge (Bifrost) winds through the scene. This art is the final sketch in a series Hildebrandt drew prior to creating the painted variant (1 in 15 copies) cover for "The Mighty Thor" #8. Drawn May 2016. This original art presents the end stage of Hildebrandt's process of posing the characters and planning lighting to add a sense of reality and depth. Art has been signed in pencil by Hildebrandt at bottom center of art. Margins have slight trim, but art remains Exc.
