Item Description
13.5x23.5x4.5" deep illustrated cardboard box contains elaborate playset made in Spain for the Spanish market by Comansi, who made a variety of Thunderbirds figure/ship sets, this being the largest and most impressive. 1965. Box has scattered color rubs and corner tip/edge wear. Fine overall. Playset is complete w/all 13 fragile plastic figures, ten of which are featured in photos on side of box - Lady Penelope, Jeff, Gordon, Alan, John, Virgil and Scott Tracy, Aloysius Parker, Brains and The Hood. Lady Penelope has base chip/piece repair. John has glue repair to hand and tip off gun. All others are complete w/o repairs. Playset includes two of seven ships/vehicles - Thunderbirds #1 and 2. Battery-operated Nuclear unit attached to base as issued has not been tested as it needs foreign battery. Figures/ships are Fine to Exc. overall. Vacuform plastic base has a few small scattered staple holes as attached to Masonite board. These are not overly distracting and base still displays VF/Exc. Rare and first we've offered in our 50 years.
