Item Description
Sizes are 1.75" to 3.5". The first button appears in Muchinsky's Knot Hole section as button #120 on page 83. Muchinsky notes in his book that Major League Knot Hole buttons are quite uncommon. Button has tiny age traces and 1/16" tan dot along the extreme upper edge and beneath the letter "N" of "Cardinals". Just above the top of a fence post, is a tiny .25" long hairline cello crack that barely shows. Vast majority of the piece displays clean and glossy. Fine. Nice cartoon of young boy assisting his younger brother who stands on a "Soap" box as both view the game through a pair of holes in the board fence. Second item names "St. Louis Cardinals" and is c. 1950. Small aging traces on the reverse but the front is essentially Mint. Last is the "I Told You So/St. Louis 'Cards'/National League 'Champs'". This appears in the Muchinsky World Series section as #329 but that example has a ribbon reading "World Series 1968" so this example is not the book plate example. Condition is NM displaying Mint.
