Item Description
18x26-1/8" thin artboard has pen and ink original art by "The Born Loser" creator Art Sansom for Jan. 14, 1968. Sunday page has nine panels (including first panel w/title paste-over) showing Wilberforce Thornapple dreading taking a bath, only for his mother Hornet to demand him to clean his room first. The running bath forgotten, last panel shows Thorny - The Born Loser - getting dripped on from ceiling as he reads the newspaper. Sansom has signed last panel. Fourth panel has NEA, Inc. copyright strip. 1" margin tear at bottom center. Margins have some editorial notations w/some scribbles along top margin and at lower right. Title paste-over has some scattered aging but art remains clean and Exc.
