Item Description
19.25x29.5" artboard (pieced together from two pieces, w/tape and glue stains on reverse) has original pen and ink art for Jan. 14, 1968 Sunday page by creator V.T. Hamlin. Ten panel story features Alley Oop confronting another caveman who has taken one of Dinny's babies as a pet. Last three panels feature an angry Dinny showing up and chasing the kidnapper. Alley Oop appears in every panel w/Dinny appearing in three. Hamlin has signed last panel. Last panel also features NEA, Inc. copyright strip. Margins have some pencil notations and bottom has printer's note paste-over, but art remains clean and Exc.
