Item Description
5.75x8.5" hardcover w/192 pages and original photo-illustrated dust jacket. Written by New York Yankees legend and Baseball HOF member Mickey Mantle (1931-1995), book was published by Doubleday & Company, Inc. ©1964. Mantle has boldly signed front of DJ in blue felt tip pen, his signature stretching nearly across the entire cover. DJ shows scattered wear w/red pricing sticker at upper right and 1" tear at top left by spine. Top/bottom of DJ's spine also shows wear, w/wear more moderate to bottom. Scattered age spotting/rubs, including two tiny rubs at Mantle's signature, but rest remains distinct. DJ is Fine overall; signature displays VF. Book has inked name inside front cover and some minor corner tip wear, but book is o/w VF/Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
