3-1/8x3.5x5/8" thick hinged embossed leather case w/plush velvet lining and exterior metal hook latch contains sixth plate daguerreotype showing portrait of young boy in military style uniform. 1850s. Case shows some scattered wear at corners and along edges, but remains sturdy and Fine overall. Daguerreotype is clean w/sharp image.
