2-3/8x3-3/8" tintype plate features nice portrait image of telegraph operator at his station, in studio pose of sending message. 1860s. Sharp image w/all apparatus in view. Plate has lt. craze lines and typical corner tip/edge wear. Fine overall w/VF image.
