3.25x3-5/8x.75" thick hinged Littlefield Parson's & Co. thermoplastic case w/plush velvet lining contains sixth plate daguerreotype showing portrait of General William McKissick, who served as a Major in War of 1812 before becoming a General. Collar piping and insignia, epaulets, uniform buttons, sword hilt and sash are hand-tinted. Case has cracks on both halves, one half from top to bottom. VG. Image has some lt. spotting, Fine overall.
