Item Description
8.25x11-5/8" hardcover book bound in marble paper boards w/42 pages featuring the macabre and ghoulish art of Leonard Baskin, an American sculptor, illustrator, wood-engraver, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher who founded The Gehenna Press in 1942 (who published this book in 1976). 450 copies of this edition were printed on "Various Interesting Papers." Page toward the back has been hand-numbered "356" and signed in pencil by Baskin. Book has area of moisture staining along top of spine which affects a number (but not all) pages in a triangular area to varying degrees. Fine/VF. Signature pages remains Exc. Scarce book w/a very limited print run.
