Item Description
12x19x17.5" tall insulated painted metal cooler w/carry handle. Cavalier Corporation of Chattanooga, TN. 1940s. Raised and painted "Drink Coca-Cola In Bottles" text on two main sides. One end has built-in painted cast metal bottle opener w/raised "Coca-Cola" name. This has some moderate scattered oxidation. Same side has metal screw plug to drain water at bottom. Metal chain used to attach this plug to cooler is broken but present. Lid lifts off when wire latch handles on sides are lifted, revealing galvanized metal interior w/lift-out metal tray. Interior has some scattered aging, mainly at seams but is o/w clean and VF. Exterior has some scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks/chips and scratches. Some small areas of bare metal showing. Fine overall.
