Item Description
8.75" dia. by 10.25" tall tin w/lid once contained bon-bon candies by Turkish confectionery, 1907. Sides of tin show various sporting events, including foot race, woman playing tennis, soccer and "Paris Grand Prix - 1907" showing well-dressed man and woman riding in early automobile. All but soccer image have text w/1906 or 1907 dates, but majority of text is worn. Tin shows heavy and obvious wear w/many areas of bare metal showing and moderate oxidation to lid and some to underside, which has a few dents. Good/VG.
