Item Description
Complete set of 23 11x16.5" thin artboards w/pen and ink original art (as well as 12 pages w/pen and ink original art for effect panels on those pages) for "The Fury Of Firestorm" #32 that was published by DC Comics Feb. 1985. Pencil and inks were provided by Alan Kupperberg w/lettering by Bob Lappan. Artboards represent complete 23-page story that deals w/the ghost of Shoe Shine taking over Martin Stein's body, becoming part of Firestorm, w/The Phantom Stranger appearing to help his fellow Justice League member. First page has title and publishing indicia paste-overs and has been signed by Kupperberg along lower left. Firestorm appears on majority of pages, w/The Phantom Stranger appearing on about half. Artboard has some scattered corner clips and margin trims, none affecting art. One page has correction paste-over and another has screentone accents. Scattered white correctional fluid touch-ups. Pages have Comics Magazine Code Authority dated stamps on backs. Several pages have tape staining at center margins and artboards are Fine to VF, but art remains clean and Exc. for the most part. Great action-packed story.
